Haiti Relief Concert

The April concert was a highlight for this year in that it was not only a great musical event but we also raised a considerable amount of money to forward to relief efforts following the Haiti earthquake in January 2010.

The Amabile Boys Choir

B/M John Lam Conducts the massed groups
Jazz Trumpeter, Paul Stevenson was our guest soloist and a big hit with everyone. Paul hit lots of  high notes in his usual effortless style.

Chicago Staff Band Weekend

In March, we hosted the Chicago Staff Band for a weekend of inspirational brass workshops, exciting concert music and a very special Sunday morning service that was a blessing to all.

The Saturday workshops included a massed band with

those in attendance.

Even the youngest players got to play in the massed band

and enjoy some special encouragement from Bill Himes.

The CSB presented a thrilling Saturday evening concert. And the concert included some interesting special effects.

Personnel

As we wrap up another season, there are personnel changes to work around. Some of these have been indicated on the Members page and we will give you a complete update once we have our September "line-up" established.
